There are so many types of k-cups on the market. It’s difficult to know really if the cup will work as well as it should. After using these. I’ve found that the design could be tweaked a little to perform better. The coffee machine I’m using is the Keurig brand single brew. Found that the top cover has an indented circle around the filling hole. So when you close the coffee maker lid over the pod it snags a bit on the puncture point of the machine. I think a design with hole around the fill hole was smaller in circumference and maybe a bit deeper will help to avoid the puncture tip from snagging when you close the lid. I feel that the constant snagging of the puncture tip will lead to breaking it and I’ll have to have that replaced.

Having used other reusable pods, this pod offers a hinge that is much stronger than other pods. The first pods I purchased had flimsy hinges that broke after a few uses. I had to apply “first aid tape” to those hinges. This pod also is much easier to clean. The used grounds are found only under the cap, not in the basket as I experienced with other pods. Had a little problem with this pod popping out of my older Keurig machine. Problem was solved by applying firm pressure after closing the top lid of the machine and then checking by applying slight upward hand pressure to ensure the lid is firmly closed. Highly recommend these pods.
